Video: Ohio Mailman Gets Arrested after Stealing $2M in Checks

In 2023, Terrence Holloway — a 23-year USPS letter carrier in Kettering, Ohio — was arrested and charged with 51 federal counts including mail theft, bank fraud, and conspiracy after investigators discovered he had photographed over 3,400 personal checks from his route and sold them to various buyers. The six-year scheme drained retirement accounts, destroyed credit scores, and caused fourteen families to lose their homes to foreclosure — including a retired couple who had paid their mortgage on time for 34 years and were eleven months from owning their home free and clear.
