USPS truck catches fire in Montgomery Village, MD

Officials say it looks like the fire began in the engine compartment area

MONTGOMERY VILLAGE, Md. — 2/20/25 – A United States Postal Service truck caught fire in Montgomery Village Thursday morning.

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue responded to the fire at 11 a.m. on the 20300 block of ButterWick Way, off East Village Avenue. Two units responded and were able to safely put out the fire. No one was injured, fire officials say. More at WUSA
