GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)– A local woman claims she was given her neighbors mail to deliver after her own mail was not being delivered.
She says it’s because her dog got out while a postal worker was making a delivery, but her dog is not violent, and did not attack or bite the worker.
The neighborhood mailbox sits right in front of her house.
But the post office says they have the right to pull back their workers if they feel unsafe, and says if this woman was given her neighbor’s mail, it was a mistake.
“That lady gave me everybody’s mail in that mailbox, the community mailbox. Everybody’s mail,” said Grand Junction resident Brenda Stevenson. KKCO
