The man accused of shooting a postal worker near Spring Branch earlier this month won’t be seeing the light of day anytime soon.

This morning a federal judge ordered Bradley A’Hearn be held without bond until his trial.

Bradley A’Hearn was emotional, crying uncontrollably when his mother was called to the stand. She asked the judge to give her son the chance to post bond.

Christine A’Hearn offered her car as collateral should Bradley be granted bond and not return for his trial.

The judge, though, said evidence indicates Bradley is a danger to the public and will stay locked up until the trial.

During the detention hearing, a U.S. Postal Service Inspector gave specific details about Bradley’s alleged crime spree.

The inspector said A’Hearn told a codefendant he shot a postal worker in Spring Branch on February 11, 2017 and stole her vehicle because she wouldn’t give up her phone. Read more
