WESTFORD, Mass. – Residents of one Westford neighborhood haven’t received mail for a week. The reason they were given is that a dead tree branch makes the route too dangerous for the postman.
USPS said they were making this decision out of an abundance of caution. A tree branch that residents say has been dead for years has recently become a concern.
“It’s probably been that way for some time now. I don’t really look up at branches so i don’t really know but it doesn’t seem very threatening to me,” one resident said. Read more
