Decision Expected in 30 to 60 Days
05/06/2016 – Arbitration hearings on the APWU Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Postal Service have concluded and the union expects a decision in 30 to 60 days, President Mark Dimondstein has announced.
During 18 days of hearings that focused primarily on the economic provisions on the new contract, the union and management presented their positions, called witnesses, submitted evidence, and offered rebuttals.
The three-member panel of arbitrators began its deliberations on May 4. The panel is comprised of a union-appointed arbitrator, a management-appointed arbitrator, and Neutral Arbitrator Stephen B. Goldberg, who will determine the outcome.

3% what a joke! Just health insurance and its co-pays went up more than that. It feels I’ve made the same amount of mo eye the last 10 years. Our union blows. It wastes sll it’s money protecting millenials who are on light duty at the age of 23. Work 27 years and get back to me
My local union is practically non-existent. I can imagine what the big union did for us on this contract
I got 2 1/2 more years and I’m gone after that they can take this job and shove it
They should at least let us know what it<s all about?? (WAT THEY R DECIDING ON)
So the union asked for a %3 pay raise in the final stage of arbitration? What a joke. EVERYONE knows they number will be halved as a compromise. They should of demanded %6, which is reasonable in light of how much we gave back and lost in the last contract. Our union sucks.
