Video: Police warn residents of postal scam in Greenbrier County West Virginia

GREENBRIER COUNTY (WVVA) – 12/10/15 – The West Virginia State Police are investigating a postal service scam in Ronceverte.

Troopers say three different people have impersonated an area mail carrier. The first incident happened Tuesday evening in the parking lot of a grocery store in Fairlea. The impersonator targeted a Ronceverte resident and said she was his carrier, by name. She is described as 5’1″ tall with blonde hair and gray roots. Troopers say she asked the man for $50 to help her sick grandson. Read more
