ORLANDO, FL – 12/10/15 – An alert mail carrier became a crime fighter when he spotted two burglars stealing from a house on his route, authorities said.
Beth Schafer was at work Monday when just after 10 a.m. she got a call from police saying that someone had broken into her house in Orlando, Florida.
But during the heist, Schafer said the crooks were stopped in their tracks by a mail carrier, who confronted them.
According to the homeowners, the mail carrier, known only as Ralph, knew that the people in the driveway did not belong there. He asked them what they were doing and they ran off. Read more
