DETROIT (WXYZ) – A Detroit mother is thanking the people who saved her daughter’s life.

Deanna Craddock’s daughter Whitney, a young postal worker, was outside her mail truck when she was hit by an impaired driver and pinned underneath the two vehicles.

“I was just saying a prayer on the side of the bed for God to protect my children and as I was ending I got a phone call that my daughter was trapped under a car,” says Deanna Craddock. Read more
