  1. This abuse also takes place in hospitals in between patient care at times..Absolutely placing patients at risk..Knowing first hand what becoming a target feels like, how it destroys one from the inside out, taking away not only dignity, but stripping one of ways to support themselves and their family, places even more burdome on an already saturated, infected leaking society.>>Next time you or a family member enters a healthcare facility, think about the possibility that your care taker may be someones target.I know after 25 years in healthcare, and doing a good job, upon becoming a target, my patient’s were at risk for inadequate care..Sabotage is real, and many times an absolute weapon, that fires with a direction in mind, yet hits many more than just the target! This is in fact ‘WAR at Work..My name is Gail, I became the Barnstable County Advocate for the Mass Healthy Work Place..

  2. So glad this was published on PEN. Below is the link to a petition supporting the New York Healthy Workplace Bill to make bullying illegal in NYS. Today I delivered a petition with 250+ signatures to Sheldon Silver, Speaker of the NYS Assembly. I plan to return to his office in a few weeks with more signatures.

Just 28 more signatures to reach next Moveon.org goal of 300. Spread the word. http://petitions.moveon.org/sign/make-nys-healthy-workplace?source=c.em.cp&r_by=7603820

I’m a tenured professor at Hunter College and am working on a few op eds to be published. My father was a postal worker for 20+ years in Chicago. Best to all.
