USPS has launched a pilot program to provide automatic replenishment of stamps, money orders and stamp products at select Post Offices with Point of Service (POS) terminals.
The online program — Solution for Enterprise Asset Management (SEAM) — is being tested at offices in Alaska, Portland, Seattle and Salt Lake City districts. These districts are serviced by the Portland Stamp Distribution Center.
SEAM, an online inventory management system, supports the planning, automatic replenishment, tracking and visibility of USPS assets.
POS offices participating in this pilot program received communication and training prior to implementation.
