GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) – 11.17.14 – Debra Hall didn’t just deliver the mail to a home last week, the Greenville County U.S. Postal Service carrier saved a woman who had fallen and had been lying outside for almost three days.
It was Thursday when the letter carrier made the 911 call and the 78-year-old woman was rushed to the hospital. She’d fallen Tuesday at her home in the Westcliff community.
Hall said she saves every Christmas and Valentine’s Day card she gets from any customer she’s ever delivered to. Her husband, Chris, said it shows how much she cares, and he’s proud of how she went above and beyond on the job. Read more
