MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, Ohio – Liam Donafee was just ten years old when his father died. David Donafee was delivering mail in Parma Heights Feb. 14, 2008 when he was hit by a car and killed.

“At first it was really devastating and then I was sad for a little while but my mother showed me I had to push forward and be happy,” Donafee said.

Now 17, he took another step forward on Wednesday. He met face-to-face for the first time with Jess Kluter, the man who was behind the wheel. Video will load below. Read more
