New Click-N-Ship website set for launch
The Click-N-Ship team has posted “Get to Know The New “Click-N-Ship” Web pages on usps.com.
Employees now can get a sneak peek at some of the features and enhancements of the newly redesigned Click-N-Ship application. These pages provide an overview of the new look and feel, the “Ship Again” feature, print options and the redesigned “Shipping History.”
The Click-N-Ship website is scheduled for re-launch later this month.

Everyone stationed overseas must use the usps custom form generated from the website starting 1 October. I can’t get it to print. What is the deal. I have tried at home off base and at work on base. No difference.

Fix the error, “Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation”, by the following directions:
Run the USPS meter label solution with admin rights. To do so:
1. Right click on desktop icon for the USPS meter label solution.
2. Click [Properties].
3. Click [Compatibility] tab.
4. In the privilege level section at the bottom, check “Run this program as an administrator”.
5. Click OK.
Hopefully this works for you, as it worked for me!
We have a Neopost unintegrated meter and there is no troubleshooting as I keep getting an error “Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation”. I cannot get past it. What does this mean??

I meant not open on “Saturday” not Sunday. I can do just as much with the website now, so why have the program at all?
I don’t understand why the USPS got rid of the ability to print first class package labels on their website, so then I had to use “Click & Ship” for business to print out first class package labels, NOW the update to the lastest program is absolutely useless…It got rid of first class package labels, so now I have to go stand it line for 30 mins to an hour at an understaffed post office, that actually closes for lunch from 11-12 and then closes at 4pm and isn’t open on Sunday…really??
I have to reinstall every time I use the product practically because it hangs up in the initialize phase. Started about a month ago or so. Windows 8.1

The click and ship will process everything and take your money no problem, but good luck getting your labels to print or save.
I spent the morning on hold for over 3 hours with the Technical support at USPS just to be cut off.
So now I have several packages from online auctions that are marked as shipped, paid for shipping, but I cannot ship due to the terrible ‘update’.
Loss of business, loss of money…
I cannot download my shipping history. My keyboard becomes a “slow motion” device after only 2-3 transaction, type a character, and wait for 1 sec for processing before the the next character. And you will not believe that when you try to make a shipment to Canada, you could not type a first name of customer with 2 words, our USPS allow 1 word only, they don’t like space character in the first and lat name field! Try it please, try to make a pseudo shipment to Canada with 2 words in First Name, it’s very interesting!

Click n Ship still not working since January. What a joke ! I have all updated browsers, doesn’t matter it states “this payment type not accepted” Doesn’t matter what payment type none work Paypal,Mastercard,visa, amex. Tried on a new win8 computer, win7 computers none work.
We have to pack everything down to the post office and pay more. The old system worked fine, now you broke it….
I also tried to even get to the area where you put your payment in and I couldn’t get there. I also had trouble printing labels in Jan and had to ask for a refund. I had used this site in the past and had no trouble. I hope it can be fixed.
A commercial company would have fired the programmers for the new website. It simply does not work when I need it. The old one may not have had the best flow, but IT WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Io have tried for over a month to get my USPS shipping labels to print and it won’t work. I am so disgusted with this new and improved site. IT’s a bunch of bull$#%@!!!

Man about punched me screen today I was so angry, had to chase the page around when I click on a box it jumped up and I had to scroll it down every time and it would not take the zip code it did yesterday but no matter how I tried it just kept saying to refresh then it put the zip it would not take right back in no matter what I added to it! Big waste of time and money!
Again an update that doesn’t work and of course they never respond to e-mails. Why do they keep messing with something that – finally – we got working? I wonder how lon i will before the click-n-ship site will be available? No wonder so may people are seeking other shipping methods. Time to call FedEx ’cause I keep waiting on these clowns.
Ok, late to this post, but yes, worse ever, been on hold forever trying to get help, guess I’ll hang up and call FedEx AGAIN.
The U.S. Postal Service website has NOT WORKED IN YEARS! I firmly believe it’s a conspiracy by postal workers to keep jobs in the physical post offices. In other words, if the public can’t buy stamps online, they’ll have to line up at the post office and more clerks will keep their jobs. This sucks. Hello USPS?
For the last several days I can’t print a label without wasting expensive labels. I originally thought it was my printer. I bought a new printer, guess what it’s not my printer. If I needed UPS everday you would have just lost a small business customer. I may change anyway to to save my time. In a small business time is money. We have to wonder why USPS is losing money. Guess what UPS labeling is still working great my only complaint is the pickup fee that’s not sounding so bad after the last few days I’ve had trying to get a label!!!

I downloaded the click and ship software. It was never easy to use, not intuitive and if you make an error you have to start over. the pricing never worked, and instead of allowing you to go back, it ends at a dead end and you have to start over. Now it is worse: I’ve been trying for two days to get get an international package ready and it’s been spinning it’s wheel for an hour. All I want is the customs label. No wonder the Post Office is going broke. If they want customers, make the products work better.
I used to be able to use the site to order stamps and print postage and arrange for pickup. Not anymore. It’s not like I don’t know what I’m doing. I’ve been doing it for years now, but with the new “improved” site, I can’t do anything! Error messages, it signs me out over and over, etc. What a mess! I hate it!!
What a waste of time. I wanted to print a label with First Class postage for a bulky envelope. The best I could do was to find that the Post Office price is 1.96 but there is no on-line option.
I did get through to tech support fairly quickly and they confirmed how stupid the offering is. I asked if I could just print some postage and they said ‘sure’. I said OK let’s do it, but that only works for Priority etc. This is no substitute for a postage meter. Those companies probably have strong lobbies or some other way to influence the PO. They don’t want the PO to fail, but they don’t want it taking their business either.
My business used the Shipping Assistant program a lot and now this “new” one won’t even install on ANY of my PCs. This is a joke and now WE are losing business and FOR SURE USPS IS NOT GETTING ANY EITHER. Bring back the good old Shipping Assistant! All I need are labels without postage as I already pay for a meter machine to print my own, but the website won’t allow to print labels without postage. FAIL!
GET RID OF THE CLICK-N-SHIP for BUSINESS AND BRING BACK SHIPPING ASSISTANT! Your customer service STINKS TOO!
Usps site is slowest ever. Took me over 30mins just to get the payment through just to print out a shipping label. They need to fix the site or shut it down.
Can’t even successfully install the program – what is this a big waste of time?
USPS should have left well enough alone. Their recent website update is a freaking mess. Frequent error messages that you can’t get around that bring you to a screeching halt. Just came off of the site. Pulling my hair out because it wouldn’t accept any of my credit cards. The old site was fine. Been using it for many years w/o problems.
Let’s be specific.
1..the site was down for hours after it was “launched”..couldn’t do a thing. Here it is 4/12/12 and these are still current problems:
2. Track and Cionfirm is down half the time.
3. Site does not send out email notifications of tracking.
4. Site does not ask you if labels printed ok, and since, using AOL, it goes into a “processing” state after you have okay’d the charge, you have to go back into your cart and do it again, therebvy incurring a duplicate charge. You then have to ask for a refund on one of them.
5. Takes more clicks to get anything done.
6. Additional comments do not appear on customs forms, even if you have entered them.
In summary, this is a site that was poorly conceived, designed, and tested. The solution is to fire anyone associated with it and get some decent computer professionals in there.

I keep getting time out errors I had about 2k in shipments today with my company we use usps.com for our international orders and it took 20 minutes for the first order and 20 now with just timeouts this is the 3rd day in a row of problems. I had to ship all my packages with fedex now which cost us more but we have obligations i’ll be shipping fedex until this is fixed or I give up on usps
The new USPS website is a joke. I personally don’t think it is pleasing to the eye, the old site looked alot better in terms of information and fields being visible with minimal scrolling. The old site allowed copy and paste information into fields easier since for example, first name and last name were a single field. The new site has the fields all over the place, lots of scrolling. Like others said, loading pages take forever, most of the time I get error messages after filling out all shipping information, then forced to start over. Can’t search shipping history by name anymore. I can go on and on. So many glitches. I find the new USPS website unusable.
I think the Temptations said it best – beauty is only skin deep. This new USPS website looks pleasing to the eye but so did the fruit to Eve.
This new site is way too SLOW and the one option I liked best from the old site is missing – “download transactions” in the ship history.
Who redesigned this site anyways? Please hire me next time. At least I will make sure everything works, all options are still available, and it responds quickly to the customer’s needs.
And what about customer support? There is none. Call the number. I never got a human voice. I guess I understand why. I wouldn’t want to talk with disgusted and discouraged customers (like me) all day long either.
Please bring back the old site. Please?
Worst update ever. Their site was better 5 years ago. Can’t get anything done….
The new design for Click-N-Ship is pretty. It doesn’t work at all using Chrome, and it appears from comments posted on Forums that it also doesn’t work using Safari.
Has USPS decided that all users now must revert back to using Microsoft’s IE browser? Seriously — your designers didn’t think to test the new version on other popular browsers?
Here’s the error message that appears on the page at https://cns.usps.com/go :
“Error 500: tag ‘select’, field ‘list’, name ‘form.deliveryCountry’: The requested list key ‘sCountryList’ could not be resolved as a collection/array/map/enumeration/iterator type. Example: people or people.{name} – [unknown location]”
Their damn site isn’t working I keep getting errors, talk about epic failure. Hope it’s up soon as I have two packages waiting to go out.
The new website released today. It has to be the worst update ever. Did they even test it? Page loads are taking 5 minutes on a high speed connection. I don’t have time to wait around for stuff to load, so I had to ship UPS today. If this continues, USPS will lose a customer.
