Calumet City’s Darnell Hamilton said working at the postal service has prepared him for the upcoming season of “Survivor: Kaoh Rong.”

“I’m going to tell you right now that the postal service lives up to its reputation of ‘postal’ so I’ve been playing this ‘Survivor’ game well before I even got out here,” Hamilton said in a video clip CBS posted Wednesday in announcing the new “Survivor” cast.

Hamilton, 27, is one of 18 contestants battling for the $1 million prize in the show’s 32nd season, set in Cambodia and scheduled to premiere 7 p.m. Feb. 17. The contestants will be divided into three teams–brains, brawn and beauty. Read more
