JOHNSON CITY, TN. (WJHL)-  For more than a decade Johnson City U.S. Postal Service mail carrier Valorie Hall has received thousands of letters from children eager to get their Christmas demands to old St. Nick.

“This is about the kids,” Valorie Hall said.

She works hard every year on her own time, just to make sure each child’s letter makes it to the North pole and into Santa’s hands.

“He gets everyone and he reads everyone but then he gives them to his elves to make sure they get their letter back and then they get to me and i make sure they get delivered,” Valorie Hall said. More from WJHL
