Video: Postal worker killed in northeast Las Vegas crash identified

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) – The postal worker who was killed in a northeast Las Vegas crash Saturday afternoon has been identified.

The crash happened about 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Mt. Hood Street and Owens Avenue.

According to Las Vegas Metro police, the driver of a car did not observe a stop sign at the intersection and slammed into the United States Postal Service truck. The post office truck flipped, and the driver, was thrown from the vehicle.

The postal service truck driver, identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office as 62-year-old Alton Hall, of Las Vegas, died at the scene. Read more
