Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) – A postal worker died in a crash Saturday afternoon in the eastern part of the valley.
The three-car crash occurred around 3:20 p.m. in the 6200 block of East Owens Avenue, near Mount Hood Street. One of the vehicles involved was a U.S. Postal Service truck, which overturned.
Authorities say the driver of a Nissan Altima failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a USPS truck. The impact flipped the truck and ejected the driver. He was pronounced deceased.

The speed limit on “Mt. Hood” where that lady hit the mailman (intersection of Mt Hood and Owens), is 25MPH. It is on Owens that the speed is 45MPH. I live a few blocks from that intersection and I’ve seen cars speeding on Owens and Mt Hood, and running that stop sign (especially those traveling E&W on Owens) all the time!!!!!
May our brother rest in peace.
