Video: Investigation: Postal workers play hooky, get paid – 36 postmasters on list

Four postal workers in th Atlanta area and hundreds nationwide have been accused of cheating on time sheets and are still getting paid, an investigation by Channel 2 Action News uncovered.

Thirty-six postmasters are on the list of employees investigated for time and attendance fraud, including one postmaster in the Atlanta metro area. Read more

  1. If you are a Postal Worker you should learn how to listen, read and investigate. Total was 275 employees… Only 36 were Postmasters. Total management including, Managers, Supervisors and Postmasters there were a total of 61, that’s right just 61 in management. Of those 61 fraud incidents Management improperly paid craft employees about a dozen times and the employees didn’t report it. Look at the list in the video also and you see distribution employees and carriers. Google it… investigate it AND just because it’s on the internet doesn’t make it true, think before you speak and before you try to blame ALL “MANAGERS”.

  2. As a postal WORKER, I resent the reference to postal WORKERS in this article. They are postal MANAGERS, who do NO work.
