Video: Florida man, 90, accused of threatening to kill postal worker, is jailed without bail

A 90-year-old man grew so upset about having to step out of a West Boca post office line, he returned with a gun and threatened to kill an employee, deputies say.

The suspect, identified as H.B. Shea, of West Boca, slammed a pistol on a counter, looked at an employee and said he would “blow his head off” with the gun, according to a Palm Beach sheriff’s arrest report.

The conflict began about 5:45 p.m. Monday at the post office at 8185 Via Ancho.

Shea, 90, of West Boca, is accused of threatening a to kill a post office employee with a handgun after becoming upset with the service he received. Shea became upset because an employee of the Postal Service declined to fill out paperwork for him to mail a package, the arrest report said. Read more
