KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) – A viewer reached out to 2 News after the postal services refused to deliver her mail.

Every day for the past 37 years 61-year old Valerie McGinnis goes outside and gets her mail. However, a month ago, the United States Postal Service stopped delivering her mail.

“The first day was on a Wednesday, I noticed my mail wasn’t here, which I thought was very strange because its been years since I haven’t gotten something” said Valerie McGinnis, Kettering resident.

Several days later, Valerie says she went to the post office to find out what was going on.

“I continued to pick up my mail from the post office, the mail worker came out and informed me in front of a long line, I wouldn’t have my mail delivered as long as my neighbors lived there and had a dog” said McGinnis. More
