As Congress and citizens across the country push back against unwarranted bonuses and poor service, is this going to be a meet and greet or is anything substantive going to come out of this? Surely the BOG isn’t so tone deaf they’re not going to voice some measure of concern about how the Steiner/Tulino regime have gutted service. There also has to be some embarrassment over the bonuses for failure they’ve doled out thus far. It’s likely the numbers will be bad, especially coupled with the horrible service this bunch is becoming known for. Steiner and Tulino are falling on their “we need more money “ sword and aren’t likely to deviate from it; hopefully they’ll resign if they don’t get it, crying all the way to the bank with their bonuses. If Steiner had just ignored Tulino and cut the fat in management, tried to at least maintain service levels, and then asked for a universal service reimbursement, then he might have succeeded. Tulino, however, is ingrained in the postal way of obfuscation, lying, and unaccountability. He schooled Steiner and now look what the result is. It will do no good to get rid of one and not the other.
