COBLESKILL, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Local police said a woman walked behind the counter and stole hundreds of dollars from a local post office.
U.S. Postal Service investigators said on September 7, Brittany Bailey, 24, of Fultonville, walked into the Cobleskill Post Office during regular business hours and was wearing a U.S. Postal Service uniform.
Police said she acted in a manner that lead post office employees to believe that she worked there. Bailey then gained access to a secure location and stole $400 from the cash register.
It wasn’t until later that employees discovered the cash had been missing. More at ABC News 10
