Charlotte, NC – Approximately 15 people were taken to area hospitals early Thursday morning after becoming sick at a U.S. Postal facility in west Mecklenburg County, according to post office officials.

Paramedics transported at least nine people from West Pointe Dr. around 5:45 a.m. and were called back out to the facility around 8 a.m. after another person became sick. Those patients were suffering from symptoms common with food poisoning. Read more
