A locked mailbox is supposed to offer security, but for potentially hundreds of people in Albuquerque, that security up in the air.

The United States Postal Service Wednesday night confirms there is a counterfeit master mailbox key in someone’s possession right now, and it’s being used.

Albuquerque’s own area postal inspector says workers are trying to get the problem under control. But in the meantime, residents can’t be sure their stuff is safe — and that’s a huge problem. Read more
