SANTA FE (KRQE) – A Santa Fe woman says a United States Postal Service worker drove right through her yard, parallel to her marked driveway, on Sunday causing damage.
“I have a perfectly fine driveway here to drive on, why would you drive down my yard?” Jennifer Browne, who lives in the Eldorado neighborhood, said.
She can’t understand why it happened.
“I mean yes, it’s inappropriate, but mostly it’s just unnecessary,” she said. Read more
Perhaps the letter carrier should have used the drive way, but my God, what yard is the lady screaming about? It’s desert scrub. Rather than bitch to the media, a call to the servicing postal AO could have gotten someone out there to rake the ruts out. Puleez!
