Video: Carrier throws package over 12ft fence

USPS worker delivers my box by throwing over a 12 foot fence.
Had that package contained anything fragile, there would’ve been a claim but luckily it was a GoPro camera that is built to take a beating. This just shows the willful carelessness USPS employees have with our packages. Video from Stone’s Beverage Center in Philadelphia, 19130. [more below video] From YouTube

Daily mail isn’t usually a problem, aside from a few late deliveries but that is okay because our business closes late. Although recently our packages and larger box deliveries have been either delayed and sometimes won’t show up until a week or two later. My latest incident occurred this morning. I was expecting a package and it was surprisingly delivered early, GREAT! BUT no one was able to accept the delivery because our gate/doors were CLOSED. Our courtyard is fenced off by a 12ft high fenced gate secured but barbed wire. I come to find the package mysteriously in the middle of our courtyard wondering how it got there so I go over the security footage and wouldn’t you know it…it was thrown over the fence to land on hard concrete. I’ve called and called the branch store but lately it seems to just keeps ringing and ringing. If it had contained fragile contents I’ve would have filed a claim but luckily it was a GoPro Camera which is built to take abuse. I don’t expect for them to answer for their actions but this is to inform USPS customers of the willful carelessness USPS employees have with our packages. END RANT.

  1. sometimes the supervisor or managers just wants to get the packages delivered not caring bout the person package or just a lazy carrier needs to be fired

  2. What it shows is the idiocy of some carriers.
“laziness finds the most efficient way to get the job done.” Sure wouldn’t want to take the time to fill out a 3849.
