Video: Diary, Confessions, and Photo Journal of USPS Letter Carrier

This is for the workers, who do the same repetitive tasks every day. This is for the children, who want a different future. This is for the tired people, who just need a break. Thanks for watching Drivin Around with Erik and Christi- The next evolution of art for the next evolution of humankind.Say thank you to your letter carrier today. They work SO hard.

  1. This is a very beautiful and insightful video. There are so many things that could be exposed about the Postal Service, but she concentrated on the good, I think, the hard workers, the hard work, the hard working conditions, etc.

While she had the name of the trucks wrong, Long Life Vehicles, not Limited Liability Vehicles, I’ve driven these things, and my own, since 1992 when I got mine, now 23 of my 31 years, they are actually awesome trucks, IF maintained, and we fortunately have a good Vehicle Maintenance Facility. The vent air coming from the engine, I’ve never experienced, and I’ve driven dozens of different units.

It was so refreshing to see her enjoyment and appreciation of the beauty of people and things about her, and I’ve done this, myself… it takes so little time to snap a photo and notice little things of the Life she obviously lives to the fullest.

The Postal Service needs some tweaking, as anything does, but I am daily amazed at the job we do under the conditions and time constraints. I am glad Christi sees that, too. The story most of us could tell about postal management would be a subject for a much longer and more negative video!

Fortunately, her term was short and she could document and share afterward the good, the bad, and the ugly without fear of reprisal.

    Thank you, Christi and Eric
