To Congress and the White House:

The electioneering is over. We have a postal system that’s being placed in great danger. Money is being bled from people and businesses across America to continue pouring money into the federal treasury to pay for postal retirement-related obligations that are more than sufficiently funded with monies already paid by mail-using customers. It’s time to end this travesty and restore fiscal order to an element of this nation’s economic infrastructure that’s still important and still needed by every person in this nation. It’s time to right the wrong that is hamstringing the ability to use mail to get our nation’s economy to grow.

One Response to "The Election Is Over Now Fix The Postal Service"

  1. Why won’t someone tell the truth? All profits made by the USPS go back into the USPS, that means to hire more employees….American Employees! Instead our leaders are bragging that they have streamlined out more than 200,000 carrier jobs. Did you know there are 200,000 more USPS employees who are eligable to retire within 5 years? By the looks of it these jobs are going to be eliminated and I am wondering why? We have a viable system in place and instead of asking for loyal Americans to support our own system we seem content to go quietly into the night. I wish someone would support U.S. and say, “If you want to Save Our Nation – Mail a letter!”

    Thanks for listening
