U.S. Postal Service investigators are looking into recent allegations that a Palatine postman stole mail and used drugs while on duty.

According to Scott Caspall, a special agent with the Office of the Inspector General for the U.S. Postal Service, the employee, whose name is being kept confidential, is still employed with the post office and any administrative action will be pending any criminal investigation.
