RALEIGH (WTVD) — Neighbors in the Brook Forest Townhome community in North Raleigh hope surveillance images help nab what they believe might be a serial package thief.

The latest incident happened Monday at Amy Clark’s home where someone ripped off two cases of contact lenses which her doctor confirmed were delivered.

“I didn’t talk to the post office,” Clark explained. “My eye doctor called and confirmed with the company that it was mailed and then checked with them when it was dropped off.”

The surveillance images recorded from Clark’s neighbor’s home April 21 showed a mail carrier dropping off a package on the neighbor’s front porch. Minutes later, a red van pulled up and stopped with the driver getting out. Next, the driver picked up the mail, which the homeowner tells ABC11 is more than a $100 worth of cosmetics. Read more
