USPS Introduces Mail Call

In the news. USPS has introduced Mail Call, a quarterly newsletter for employees who served in the military. The newsletter’s goal is provide relevant information and resources available to veterans in the Postal Service.

“We are continuing our workforce engagement efforts through this targeted newsletter,” Chief Human Resources Officer Jeffrey Williamson said. “Our military veterans have served us; now it’s our turn to support them.”

The first issue includes a calendar of recruitment events, job fairs and upcoming dates recognizing veterans; a message from PMG Megan J. Brennan; and profiles of veterans.

The newsletter is available on LiteBlue.

  1. Hi. You have came out with this mail call quarterly supporting our vets. What you don’t realized in 2007 the Postal Board leaders did away with all restricted positions for disabled VetsSuch jobs as custodian/laborers- elevator operators -ect-. You all are hypocrites. These jobs were always for disabled vets under the veterans hiring act of 1944.The board decided there was not enough vets around to fill them. (thousand homeless vets) available. STRANGE
