Video: Delivery Gone Wrong: Local Man & Postal Workers Speak Out

Every day the postal service mails millions of letters and packages and it’s even busier during the holiday season! Since they have to handle so much mail, there are some cases where they misplace or misdeliver items.

One local man is out of almost $1,500 after he purchased a coin, tried selling it, and now it’s missing!

A Bridgeport man was in the giving spirit this Christmas season, when he bought an 1893 gold coin worth over $600 from a Fairmont family.

“This was for a family that was needy and we were just trying to be good people and help them out,” said Bob Cline, Coin Owner.

Bob Cline then sold the coin to a man in Washington state, when that man realized he already had that one in his collection he decided to mail it back. But Cline still hasn’t received it. 1-PEN-Small
