All POStPlan Related Questions Will be Forwarded to Postal Service Headquarters

In a meeting today at USPS headquarters, an agreement was reached between NAPUS, the League of Postmasters and Postal Service representatives that POStPlan related questions from Postmasters will be forwarded to postal headquarters. A response to each question will be posted on the NAPUS website and on the USPS HR page on LiteBlue.

All senders of email questions pertaining to POStPlan, will receive an acknowledgement that their email was received at the NAPUS national office, and they will be told where to look for the response. This process should provide NAPUS members with timely and consistent answers to their questions.

NAPUS members are encouraged to visit the NAPUS POStPlan page on the website to view currently posted FAQs and other POStlplan information prior to submitting questions.

  1. How will the VPO ensure parcels comply with FAA requirements? What about scanning scores: box uptime, SPMS, CPMS, etc? Who will hold the part time employee accountable? How will PMR’s be found to fill remote offices when already they are not available? (My level 11 office has been without a steady PMR for most of the 13 years I have been postmaster. The position has been continually posted, yet there have been no takers & even when there were candidates they refused the job after seeing what it entailed. One individual worked one day & quit after that day because it was “too much work”.)
