Video: Fire Ignites at Millersville, MD Post Office

1/5/18 – Anne Arundel County fire crews are battling a two-alarm fire at the post office on Najoles Road in Millersville. Crews arrived around 9 p.m. Friday to find heavy flames coming from the roof. Officials say firefighters had to back off because of dangerous conditions. A postal inspector is at the scene, but it’s not clear whether any mail was damaged. MSN

  1. Hi I just moved into a new development in millersville ,md . it is Pondview . I have not gotten any mail ( i sent myself mail 2weeks ago and never received it) Everything I have shipped is being returned to sender with the comment unknown address. What do I need to do to resolve this issue.

Try usps.com and find their CONTACT US link – or phone the post office or postal station where your home mail is delivered – or, try 1-800-Ask-USPS.

  2. We’re the outside mailboxes emptied after 4pm on Friday? If so, was the mail damaged? Asking so I know whether or not to resubmit important college documents that were placed in outside mailbox on Friday. Thanks.

  3. Does anybody know where the mail that was addressed to a PO box in Millersville went and where to pick it up in the future, as it looks like it might be a long time before the Post Office will be operational again?

    Millersville Post Office, 21108 — The office, located at 221 Najoles Rd., is closed until further notice due to a fire. Customers can pick up mail and obtain retail services at the Severna Park Post Office, located at 21 Magothy Bridge Rd. Hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Customers do not need to complete a change of address form. Mail deliveries in Millersville will continue as normal.
