What Types of Questions Does the Test Contain?
There are four types of questions found on the test: address checking, form completion, coding and memory, and personal characteristics and experience inventory. Address checking measures your ability to determine whether two addresses are the same, along with your speed and accuracy. Form completion questions measure your ability to identify information needed to complete forms, similar to those used by the Postal Service. These questions also measure your ability to identify information and to correctly complete forms. The coding and memory questions require identification and assigning of the correct code for each item based on a guide (coding) as well as without the guide (memory). The last type of question is that of the personal characteristics and experience inventory, which measures how effectively you may perform in the job. These questions require honest and straightforward responses.
What Is the Format of the Test?
As explained, the test contains four different sections. The address checking section requires you to complete 60 questions within a time limit of 11 minutes. The form completion section, lasts for 15 minutes and contains 30 items. The coding and memory section consists of 36 items and has a six-minute time limit. The last section of the test is the personal characteristics and experience inventory. It contains 236 items and has a time frame of approximately 90 minutes.
