USPS: Long-term care, retirement webinars planned

Looking ahead

Postal Service employees can learn about long-term care and retirement planning by participating in three forthcoming webinars.

Long Term Care Partners, the company that manages the Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program (FLTCIP), will hold the sessions.

The schedule:

  • Wednesday, March 16: FLTCIP, part 1 of 2. This session will help employees understand the importance of planning for their own long-term care.
  • Thursday, March 17: FLTCIP, part 2 of 2. In this session, employees will learn to protect their retirement with a plan for long-term care.
  • Tuesday, March 29: Midcareer planning checklist. This webinar will provide employees with helpful reminders and other useful information.

FLTCIP provides long-term care insurance to help pay for costs of care when enrollees need assistance with activities they perform every day.

The FLTCIP webinars also will cover the advantages of enrolling in the program.

Promotion of this webinar series is part of the Postal Service’s effort to support the overall wellbeing of employees and retirees through awareness, education and health access.

The LiteBlue Benefits and Wellness page has additional information, including webinar times.

  1. Several co-workers and myself are looking for retirement webinars. Do you still have available times?

Tammy – you would need to ask USPS. We have no information on that subject – the article was furnished by USPS. PEN
