The buyer in Nigeria responded and asked her to set up a PayPal account to send her $200.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know now that I never would have received the payment,\u201d Davenport said.<\/p>\n<p>Scams take many forms, Postal Inspector Wendy Boles said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe lottery scam is really prevalent,\u201d she said. Victims often believe they\u2019ve won a jackpot and need to send a hefty fee to collect it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is kind of a predicament for us because it\u2019s the customer\u2019s mail.
