Annette August-Taylor, president of the Virginia Postal Workers Union, will act as co-chair, and David Yao, Executive Vice President of the Great Seattle Area Local, will serve as secretary.<\/p>\n<p>The committee\u2019s deliberations began with a presentation of a strategic overview by President Mark Dimondstein. Members of the panel also heard from Director of Industrial Relations Tony D. McKinnon Sr., and from each of the craft directors: Clerk Director Clint Burelson, Maintenance Director Steve Raymer, Motor Vehicle Director Michael O. Foster, and Support Services Director Steve Brooks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe committee listened intently and questioned officers closely,\u201d Johnson said. \u201cWe asked about the officers\u2019 goals for negotiations and gave feedback based on our knowledge of what\u2019s happening in the field,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s a lively committee. I think members felt comfortable with the responses they received.<\/p>\n<p class=\"last\">In accordance with the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.apwu.org\/sites\/apwu\/files\/resource-files\/stconstitution2012_0.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">APWU Constitution<\/a>,\u00a0each member of the National Executive Board names one person to the committee; a 14th member, appointed by the president, is a member of the Deaf\/Hard of Hearing Task Force.
