{"id":8722,"date":"2014-10-19T08:55:16","date_gmt":"2014-10-19T13:55:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/?p=8722"},"modified":"2014-10-19T08:55:16","modified_gmt":"2014-10-19T13:55:16","slug":"dmm-revision-hold-for-pickup-service-expanded-to-additional-products","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/2014\/10\/19\/dmm-revision-hold-for-pickup-service-expanded-to-additional-products\/","title":{"rendered":"DMM Revision: Hold For Pickup Service Expanded to Additional Products"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Effective November 8, 2014, the Postal Service\u2122 will revise Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM\u00ae) section 508.7.0 to expand Hold For Pickup service to include Parcel Select Lightweight and Bound Printed Matter parcels. <a href=\"https:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/1aa-USPS-small.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-7270\" src=\"https:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/1aa-USPS-small.gif\" alt=\"1aa-USPS-small\" width=\"250\" height=\"200\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In order to provide mailers with additional options to have their shipments held at a designated Post Office\u2122 location for pickup by a specified addressee or designee, the Postal Service is expanding Hold For Pickup to include shipments of Parcel Select Lightweight and Bound Printed Matter parcels.
