{"id":8426,"date":"2014-09-11T15:10:59","date_gmt":"2014-09-11T20:10:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/?p=8426"},"modified":"2014-09-11T15:10:59","modified_gmt":"2014-09-11T20:10:59","slug":"napus-postplan-sov-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/2014\/09\/11\/napus-postplan-sov-update\/","title":{"rendered":"NAPUS: POStPlan \u2013 SOV Update"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LEAGUE and NAPUS Presidents met this past week with Headquarters to discuss POStPlan questions that have surfaced and to see where we were on impacted Postmasters. After the LAC posting, and the VER incentive, there are far fewer impacted Postmasters that need to find jobs. There are a few Districts in the country that concern us more than other, but headway is being made to find landing spots, while many have chose to retire. Headquarters and the organizations continue to monitor the impacted list to do all we can to reduce this number; Postmasters need to do all they can to help themselves. <a href=\"https:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/A-NAPUS-small1.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-6414\" src=\"https:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/A-NAPUS-small1.gif\" alt=\"A-NAPUS-small\" width=\"322\" height=\"181\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>One question that keeps coming up was answered by Headquarters this week. There has been a concern that Level 11 and 13 Postmasters could be placed in Level 17 supervisor jobs. This can\u2019t be done under a RIF as it is a promotion and a Postmaster can\u2019t gain from a RIF. They can apply and compete but they can\u2019t be placed into a supervisor 17 job as a RIF offer.<\/p>\n<p>We also were told the SOV and CSV has been updated for all Level 18 Postmasters, with the maximum number of hours a Postmaster can work as a clerk in this level office. The Management Involvement for CSV and the Postmaster Administrative Time all have been updated to reflect the number of hours they can work as a clerk.
