Ted Kennedy, appeared before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee to testify about her nomination to the board of governors of the U.S. Postal Service. <a href=\"https:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/vicki-kennedy.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-8038\" src=\"https:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/vicki-kennedy.gif\" alt=\"vicki-kennedy\" width=\"315\" height=\"177\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Kennedy expressed her concern regarding the problems that haunt USPS &#8211; she warned that further cutbacks could hurt the agency even further. She said:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>\u201cAnytime you have a cutback in service in any way, whether its delivery standards, whether its daily delivery, you know six days a week\u2026I think it&#8217;s a black eye.
