There was no answer. Malphrus reported the incident to his Postmaster who called police. They entered the house and found the customer had died. Later, the customer\u2019s family left a note in the mailbox for Malphrus to find thanking him for his concern.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n

She called 911 and stayed with the 5-year-old until police arrived. Police later determined the bus driver had dropped off students at a school, then parked the vehicle in a residential area and left it unattended, unaware the boy was sleeping on one of the seats.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n

Rockwell once again used a fire extinguisher to battle the blaze until emergency responders arrived.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n

Downing, who is trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), checked the man\u2019s vital signs and determined he had no pulse and wasn\u2019t breathing. Downing began performing CPR and instructed onlookers to call 911. Emergency responders took the man to a hospital, where he recovered.<\/p>\n
