USPS\u00a0– 4\/24\/14 –\u00a0in direct response to the changing expectations of customers who demand greater convenience and a one-stop shopping experience \u2014 last year launched a pilot program to provide postal products and services in selected Staples retail stores in markets across the country.<\/p>\n
As PMG Pat Donahoe has explained in his\u00a0State of the Business<\/a>\u00a0employee videos, Staples is the first enterprise-level chain store to participate in the Postal Service\u2019s Retail Partner Expansion Program. In support of expanding the Postal Service\u2019s presence, the PMG this week conducted a series of interviews with broadcast news outlets across the country. \u201cOur pilot partnership with Staples is a win-win,\u201d he says. \u201cIt gives customers more choices on where and when they can purchase postal products and services and helps secure the long-term future of the Postal Service.\u201d<\/p>\n Staples joins more than 65,000 retail partner locations around the country that currently offer a variety of postal products and services, providing increased access and convenience to customers in locations where they already shop.<\/p>\n![\"1aa-USPS-small\"](\"https:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/1aa-USPS-small.gif\")
