Tom Carper (D-DE) and Sen. Tom Coburn (R-OK), introduced postal legislation on Aug. 1, just before Congress adjourned for a five-week recess. <a href=\"https:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/4-APWU-Small.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-6396\" alt=\"4-APWU-Small\" src=\"https:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/4-APWU-Small.gif\" width=\"322\" height=\"181\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The APWU is reviewing the 194-page bill (S. 1486) and will provide a more complete analysis of the legislation once the review is complete. But after a quick review, President Cliff Guffey said, \u201cThis bill is fatally flawed.
