Crews, 33, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, pick up a parcel that had been shipped from Compton, California, to a residence in Paducah.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">At approximately 1:38 p.m., detectives observed the vehicle commit traffic infractions and conducted a traffic stop on South 22nd Street in Paducah. During the stop, a McCracken County Sheriff&#8217;s Office certified narcotics detection K-9 conducted an open-air sniff of the vehicle and alerted to the odor of illegal narcotics. A subsequent search resulted in the recovery of a quantity of marijuana from Knight&#8217;s person, and detectives located the parcel inside the vehicle.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The parcel was found to contain approximately over two pounds of suspected methamphetamine.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Knight was arrested and charged with:<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Failure to or Improper Signal<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Careless Driving<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, First Degree (Methamphetamine)<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Possession of Drug Paraphernalia<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Failure to Produce an Insurance Card<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Possession of Marijuana<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Crews was arrested and charged with:<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, First Degree (Methamphetamine)<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Both men have extensive criminal histories and were lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The McCracken County Sheriff&#8217;s Office was assisted in this investigation by the Paducah Police Department, the United States Postal Inspection Service, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><a href=\"https:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Kentucky-Sheriff.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-39949\" src=\"https:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Kentucky-Sheriff.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"227\" height=\"182\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>McCracken County Sheriff&#8217;s Office &#8211; 8\/6\/26 &#8211; On Wednesday, August 5, 2026, detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff&#8217;s Office, working in coordination with the United States Postal Inspection Service, concluded an investigation involving the delivery of a parcel suspected of containing methamphetamine.
