Follow these tips"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>USPS News Link<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"sub-head\">USPS offers advice for employees to beat the heat <a href=\"https:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Beat-the-Heat.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-39933\" src=\"https:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Beat-the-Heat.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"383\" height=\"668\" srcset=\"https:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Beat-the-Heat.jpg 383w, https:\/\/postalemployeenetwork.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/Beat-the-Heat-172x300.jpg 172w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 383px) 100vw, 383px\" \/><\/a><\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As much of the country experiences extreme heat, the Postal Service is reminding employees who work in hot conditions to take the following steps:<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Hydrate before, during and after work \u2014 even if you don\u2019t feel thirsty.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Wear light-colored, loose-fitting and breathable clothing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Avoid direct sunlight whenever possible.
