Some courts have agreed.<\/p>\n<p>A federal judge on Thursday blocked the proposal from moving forward after a slate of Democratic-led states filed a lawsuit.<\/p>\n<p>Celina Stewart, chief executive officer of the League of Women Voters, said the postmaster general\u2019s\u00a0statement\u00a0creates a \u201ccredibility issue.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe comments that he made are particularly concerning because voting is a right, and now it\u2019s being presented as like this risk profile, and when access to the ballot starts being treated as suspicious behavior, which I think is the underlying thing here, democracy itself starts to be audited, I think, which is really problematic,\u201d Stewart said.
