Sullivan, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that MICKYEEM PROFIT, 22, of Bridgeport, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Stefan R. Underhill in Bridgeport to 102 months of imprisonment and three years of supervised release for his participation in the violent armed robberies of multiple retail stores and an Amazon delivery truck in December 2022.<\/p>\n<p>According to court documents and statements made court, Profit and others committed\u00a0 gunpoint robberies of Omega Deli, located at 999 Maplewood Avenue in Bridgeport, on December 15, 2022; Milford Convenience &amp; Tobacco, located at 784 Boston Post Road in Milford, on December 21, 2022; an Amazon delivery truck and merchandise in Bridgeport on December 23, 2022; and Smoke Shop, located at 2175 Boston Avenue in Bridgeport, on December 23, 2022.\u00a0 In addition, Profit\u2019s associates committed a gunpoint robbery of Cumberland Farms, located at 1290 West Broad Street in Stratford, on January 2, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>During the store robberies, Profit and his accomplices entered businesses with firearms, threatened employees, forced victims to the ground, and stole money and property.\u00a0 At Milford Convenience &amp; Tobacco, Profit stepped on a victim while holding a gun to her head.\u00a0 During the Amazon truck robbery, Profit and his accomplices forced the driver into the back of the truck at gunpoint where they assaulted him.<\/p>\n<p>Profit has been detained since his arrest on January 2, 2023.\u00a0 On October 2, 2025, he pleaded guilty to one count of interference with commerce by robbery (\u201cHobbs Act robbery\u201d) and one count of carrying, using, and brandishing a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence.<\/p>\n<p>This matter has been investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Bridgeport Police Department, the Stratford Police Department, and the Milford Police Department.\u00a0 The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Nathaniel J.
