Shreve reported results today: a 21% service improvement.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Mr. Shreve\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/shreve.house.gov\/media\/press-releases\/responding-constituent-concerns-shreve-leads-indiana-delegation-demanding-usps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>spearheaded a letter from Indiana\u2019s Congressional delegation<\/u><\/a>\u00a0that pressed for action from the Postmaster General. Shreve got a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/shreve.house.gov\/media\/press-releases\/congressman-shreve-tours-usps-indianapolis-distribution-hub-continued-efforts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>firsthand look inside the massive sorting facility<\/u><\/a>\u00a0in Indy. Rep. Shreve stayed in front of USPS officials to address delivery problems that plagued the hub since it opened last year. When Shreve toured the facility, postal leaders acknowledged that planning and implementation of their plans for the large facility were the root of the problem.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Last December, the Indy distribution hub&#8217;s on-time mail service performance was at 72%. Per the USPS, the hub&#8217;s on-time mail service performance is now at 93%. The Congressman\u2019s team continues to help constituents recover packages and track lost items.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Rep. Shreve said,<\/strong>\u00a0&#8220;Since taking office, way too many constituents expressed frustration with delays at the USPS distribution hub in Indy. I led Indiana\u2019s Congressional delegation to get answers. There are good people at our Postal Service, but the planning for this huge distribution hub was lousy \u2014 and it\u2019s been costly. We are making progress.
